How the lyrics prompter works

Each song in Velvet Show has a timeline. On that timeline, you place lyric blocks at the exact position where they should appear. When the backing track plays, the lyrics scroll in sync — automatically. Chords, key changes and stage notes appear at exactly the right moment.

iPad as a stage prompter

Velvet Show outputs to a second display — your iPad, a monitor at the back of the stage, or any external screen. The stage screen shows the current song title, a countdown timer, the next song, and the current lyric block in large readable type. You can also use Velvet Remote on your iPad: it connects to Velvet Show over local WiFi and displays lyrics in real time, with playback controls at the bottom.
